Goodsmile Meeting 2018 Vol. 2 – Recap

Hey, everyone.

Let’s take a moment to look back on our Goodsmile Meeting 2018 Vol. 2 (live webcast), held yesterday.

Click here to see the YouTube Live program.

Here are the topics we went over.
・Reflecting on the season opening race
・Commentary on the Suzuka Official Testing Session held that week
・Outlook for the Super GT Round 2 race

There were also many announcements – the first of which was a collaboration illustration featuring NitroPlus mascot character Super Sonico.  It features Super Sonico in this year’s Racing Miku costume.

Just as you’d expect from Santa Tsuji, it’s pretty dynamic and leaves a lasting impression.
Like, you can’t just take a peak, but stare intently until this image has been carved into your mind.

And there will be all kinds of merchandise featuring Racing Sonico to come, so stay tuned!

Another new illustration was provided by minoa – known for her trademark style of SD characters.

We’ll be handing out a sticker based on this illustration at the Super GT Round 2 race at Fuji Speedway.  Not only will those who stop by during the Pit Walk or Kids Walk, but anyone making a purchase at the GSR Shop will receive one as well.  Supplies are limited, so be sure to get yours quick!

The second announcement was that our very own Suzuna will be making an appearance during the GSR segment of the “Snow Miku Time” live webcast program, broadcast May 10.  There will be all kinds of info you won’t be able to hear anywhere else.  It’s not your standard GSR webcast, so be sure to tune in.  You can see the webcast in the making as well, so if you have the time, head on over to show your support in person.

The third announcement was that Kawana Kaduki is going to be our grid girl for the Super GT Round 2 race.  Her wish was our command!  She’ll be standing out on the grid at Fuji, and entering for the Japan Race Queen Grand Prix Newcomer Prize.  Let’s all cheer her on!

After that, Manae Miyakoshi will be out on the grid for Round 3, and Suzuna will be our grid girl for Round 4.  Yes, that’s right – Suzuna will be going to this year’s race in Thailand.

And our fourth announcement was the scheduled for this year’s Racing Miku Supporter Photo Shoots.
