The race in Buriram, Thailand was Round 3 last year, but this year it’s in October – the same as when the Thai race debuted. The Round 3 make-up race was held at Motegi, this will be the last race where we have our full weight handicap.
In addition, the 3 strongest wildcard margin teams will be joining the race, so the competition this season is still in full force. Wildcard margin may not be a term you hear everyday, but it means that we can earn points. In other words, in the event that 1st-3rd places go to the wildcard teams, 1st-3rd places will receive no points. So if we finish behind them that’s good news, but if we finish ahead of them that would be bad.
It sees that there are about twice as many people who came out compared to last year. If you’re unable to make it, please attend the live viewing.
So without further ado, here’s the qualifying day schedule. It’s all in local time, so please add 2 hours for JST.
There’s no FIA-F4 race this time, so Shun will be serving as a mechanic.
